Schuylkill County Troopers Promoted within Pennsylvania State Police

Last week, The Pennsylvania State Police promoted 38 members to the rank of sergeant and 121 members to the rank of corporal during a ceremony at LCBC Manheim in Lancaster County on December 7, Commissioner Robert Evanchick announced. 
Within those announced promotions, 10 were residents from Schuylkill County or have been tranferred to Schuylkill County.

Newly Promoted Sergeants

Aaron J. Sidella, of East Norwegian Township, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to sergeant and assigned to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Department Watch Center. Sergeant Sidella enlisted in the state police in 2003 and was promoted to corporal in 2009.

Gary A. Williard Jr., of Tower City, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to sergeant and assigned to Troop H, Lykens. Sergeant Williard enlisted in the state police in 2002 and was promoted to corporal in 2018.

Newly Promoted Corporals

Phillip J. Cyphers, of Swatara Township, Lebanon County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to Troop L, Schuylkill Haven. Corporal Cyphers enlisted in the state police in 2014.

Robert Kluge Jr., of Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to Troop J, Lancaster, but he recently transferred to Troop L, Schuylkill Haven. Corporal Kluge enlisted in the state police in 1999.

Joshua R. Knepp, of Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to Troop J, Lancaster. Corporal Knepp enlisted in the state police in 2016.

Brian J. Ladick, of Butler Township, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to Troop L, Jonestown. Corporal Ladick enlisted in the state police in 2012.

Ian H. Lloyd, of Schuylkill Haven, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to the Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations. Corporal Lloyd enlisted in the state police in 2016.

Eddie Pagan, of Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to Troop L, Schuylkill Haven. Corporal Pagan enlisted in the state police in 2014.

Audra L. Schmidt, of Sheppton, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to Troop K, Media. Corporal Schmidt enlisted in the state police in 2010.

Matthew A. Tonitis, of Auburn, Schuylkill County, has been promoted to corporal and assigned to the Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations. Corporal Tonitis enlisted in the state police in 2013.
